i just can't watch anymore

the red raiders bowed out last night. it was a great game. who would of thought that a tatooed white boy from west virginia would be the clutch player. it was a great run. there were some great articles in the paper today. i'm still a coach knight fan. tech blew it down the stretch last night. they didn't have enough depth, and they didn't play smart at the end. but considering they weren't supposed to finish above 6th in the big 12, a top 16 finish in the tournament ain't too shabby.

on a more serious note. and this makes basketball seem meaningless. i experienced my first loss as a minister. one of the most awesome ladies i have ever met went to be with Jesus. when i think worship, i'll always think of Mickey. i was there at the hospital with her and her husband John. John and i always talk about tech and kansas state, so i guess the basketball post is ok, but when you lose someone it makes things seem really meaningless.

as i close today, i want you to go out to your nearest bookstore and pick up "Praise Habit; Finding God in Sunsets and Sushi" i'd link to it, but my computer is slow tonight. it's by David Crowder and I am now reading it the 2nd time through. it is that good, so go and get it.

God Bless
Chuck

wow

it's been forever since i posted, so i'm going to write more later. especially about all the funny things that amy and i saw in galveston on our anniversary trip. todd, i have to say, i'm rooting for the knight raiders all the way. it's not a far fetched idea for them to actually make it to the final four. i think it's definitely time for some upsets this week. when the lady raiders won it in 93', they were ranked 15th in the nation at the end of the season and were the underdogs in every game but the first one. it could happen. we have a great coach. he's a sorry individual, but a great coach. so that's my take. if tech doesn't make it, here are my final four picks. Arizona, Louisville, North Carolina, and Kentucky (they've gotta get lucky) i would really like to see L'ville and Kentucky play for the championship. I also want to see NC and NC state play in the regional final. ok. enough for now. play nice kiddies. see tadd and nance on saturday

God bless,
Chuck
