i just can't watch anymore

the red raiders bowed out last night. it was a great game. who would of thought that a tatooed white boy from west virginia would be the clutch player. it was a great run. there were some great articles in the paper today. i'm still a coach knight fan. tech blew it down the stretch last night. they didn't have enough depth, and they didn't play smart at the end. but considering they weren't supposed to finish above 6th in the big 12, a top 16 finish in the tournament ain't too shabby.

on a more serious note. and this makes basketball seem meaningless. i experienced my first loss as a minister. one of the most awesome ladies i have ever met went to be with Jesus. when i think worship, i'll always think of Mickey. i was there at the hospital with her and her husband John. John and i always talk about tech and kansas state, so i guess the basketball post is ok, but when you lose someone it makes things seem really meaningless.

as i close today, i want you to go out to your nearest bookstore and pick up "Praise Habit; Finding God in Sunsets and Sushi" i'd link to it, but my computer is slow tonight. it's by David Crowder and I am now reading it the 2nd time through. it is that good, so go and get it.

God Bless
Chuck
