well a couple more days and my 4th grade program will be over, and then i can just teach and not worry about all the other stuff.

i'm playing at the coffee shop again this saturday. this will make my 3rd time i've played there. last time i got paid. i don't do it for the money, but it sure is nice to actually make something for my time. i've added about 6 or 7 new covers to my set so i'm looking forward to it.

i have another rorheim institute in mt. vernon next weekend. it's a long way up there, and we are having to leave pretty late due to the 5th grade party i have to go to.

oh yeah, we are taking kenedy and karson to the beach on saturday morning. they've never been so it should be super fun. i'm craving the fried pickles at "the spot"

ok enough for this random blog. i have nothing funny or creative to say. the free studio at the met isn't turning out so great as it is not available when i am, and i can't get the worship guy to meet with me or even return a phone call. i did meet a guy at church who owns a hip hop label who said he would let me record in his studio for $30 an hour. he said 2 hours a song and he wouldn't charge me if it went into the 3rd hour. he's a white rapper and has worked with kj52 aka jetter, and with john rubens. so maybe this will work out. he's available on weekends, so it's just a matter of coming up with the moolah.
